"Paige Traverson's Hero in the Night" was written last year. All of my stories are sweet reads with a few twists and turns that keep the stories fun and interesting. This story is my daughters favorite of all my romance stories. She liked the action I added in comparison to the other stories I have written.
This story is a romantic suspense that takes you on a ride through the unexpected. Paige Traverson lost her memory when she was shot in a convenient store a year before. It is almost Thanksgiving Day and the holiday just doesn't hold it's appeal as it once had done, because the anniversary of the shooting was a few days shy of that special day.
Paige had changed from a happy go lucky spirited girl to a somber low key girl who had almost become paranoid. The flashes of memory and the feelings of being watched were driving her crazy, until one evening it all came to together with jarring clarity. Being watched was a reality and wasn't in her imagination. As quickly as her life had been changed with the shooting, it changes just as fast as realization comes back and she suddenly remembers who the cold blooded killer really is.
The hero is someone she ultimately knows she can love for all time, it was his brother who had died in her arms the day of the shooting. He was a stranger, but he effected her life forever. After everything gets sorted out and she gets her life back she falls in love with the hero. Paige Traverson looks forward to Thanksgiving, because it will once again be a day she can celebrate with the people she loves.
